Naarm-based indie-folk artist Stella Dunai is emerging as one of Australia's most captivating new voices. Inspired by artists such as Adrianne Lenker, Haley Heynderickx, Alice Phoebe Lou and Laura Marling, she crafts intimate, emotionally rich songs that blend lush acoustic textures, dreamy folk-pop and warm, captivating vocals.

Known to Australian audiences as the frontwoman of acclaimed six-piece electronic soul collective Empress, Stella has performed at major festivals including Dark Mofo, Panama, Meadow Festival, Sun Cycle and Beyond the Valley. Now stepping into her solo career, she is carving out a distinctive space in contemporary indie folk with her deeply personal songwriting and understated, magnetic live performances.
